Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled web developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites for our clients. In order for you to succeed in this role, you will need to be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and have solid knowledge and experience in developing websites on WordPress, and ideally Webflow and Shopify.

What you’ll do:

• Write well-designed, efficient code by using the best web development practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling websites created
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
• Maintaining logical structure and file naming conventions of content within the existing information architecture

Who you are:

• Proven working experience of 2+ years in web development
• Must have good experience in WordPress, Shopify, Web Flow, or HubSpot
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS and Javascript
• Experience with Content Management Systems including WordPress, Webflow as well as e-commerce platforms like Shopify
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Knowledge of the Search Engine Optimization process
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques meeting multiple large- and small-scale project deadlines
• Good English verbal and written communication skills
• BS in computer science or a related field
