Job Role
As a Site Operations Manager Designate you will be based at Trowell where you will train and develop your skills to then lead a rest stop of your own as a Site Operations Manager in the future. While in the designate role you will support the Midlands & North Region by providing holiday cover at other sites, support with key openings and development at sites.
You will have overall responsibility for managing and leading a specified rest stop with increased levels of empowerment to lead the site autonomously. You will create and inspire department management teams where there is a culture of open and honest communication. You will be at the forefront of ensuring our customers are at the heart of everything we do, driving departmental sales and operational brand standards and ensuring brand compliance by engaging your department teams.

Key Accountabilities
Customer Service
- Lead your department teams by championing customer service
- Create a winning culture by transforming customer service and ensuring customers are at the heart of all of our decision making
- Act as a inspirational leader by coaching the department managers to deliver excellent customer service
- Engage with customers to ensure we deliver the best possible service
People
- Take ownership for the Site Management Team recruitment
- Lead your department teams to achieve and deliver excellent brand standards and customer service
- Create a great place to work by empowering your teams
- Celebrate, reward and recognise the success for your department teams and rest area as a whole
- Communicate key information to the department teams within frameworks for both Moto and the Brands
- Empower your department managers to coach and engage with their own colleagues
- Monitor the performance and conduct of your department managers
Operational Standards
- Delivery and analysis of site brand service metrics whilst always being at the forefront and ensuring our customers are at the heart of everything we do
- Delivery and implementation of operational brand standards and compliance at site level
- Ensure that compliance with Moto and brand standards is achieved through the delivery of brand requirements by your department managers and escalate any issues to your Region Manager
- Ensure that all Moto standards, health & safety and food safety legislative checks are completed at your site and escalated to the appropriate Central Support departments
- Manage and achieve stock holding within company targets within the departments
Finance/Results
- Delivering financial targets at site level
- Implementation and decision making for site based financial processes
- Drive and achieve departmental sales targets
- Analyse and act upon financial/performance data to ensure each unit is running efficiently and profitably, by ensuring that all basic cost controls are in place
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are in place to maintain cash and stock security
