Junior Accountant

The Role

A business providing company incorporation, financial and citizenship consultancy services is seeking a professional and motivated candidate to join their exceptionally fast paced and entrepreneurial office based in Dubai. This role will support the finance team at a junior level however, there will be growth opportunities and progression for the selected candidate as you will work closely with your peers and the Finance Manager on a daily basis.

You will be required to process all journal entries, update AR and AP invoices and reconciliations and support the team with the processing of balance sheets and income statements, all to IFRS protocols. You will also assist the Senior Accountants to manage pre-payment and accruals, maintain the fixed asset register and, prepare monthly and annual year end closings. It is expected that the successful accountant will have local UAE Tax law knowledge and be capable of preparing quarterly returns for the organisation’s clients with some supervision. Additionally, the Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing the employee expenses with regards to reviewing claim forms, posting to the correct cost centre and maintaining all expense records. Reports are collated regularly and you should possess knowledge of MS Dynamics or other similar ERPs.


We are seeking a finance graduate with a maximum of 2 years of industry experience in a similar fast paced finance role. Motivation and an energetic approach are required, as this is an SME business with steady growth plans over the next 2-5 years and led by a young and dynamic CEO. It is required that the successful candidate will be available to join the team immediately.
