A full time position is available for a Farm Hand to join a family-owned cropping and sheep enterprise at Carnamah, in the North Midlands region of Western Australia. The farm is located halfway between Perth and Geraldton and just one hour to local beaches.

The farmer will happily match your duties to your interests so you can focus on cropping and hay work, sheep work, or both, along with mechanical and general maintenance and seasonal truck driving.

If you are an effective communicator with plenty of energy and the ability to work alone or as part of a team, the farmer would like to hear from you. You’ll need experience in cropping and hay, or sheep work, and a minimum HC truck licence with the ability to rapidly acquire your MC.

SKILLS & QUALITIES

• Enjoys working on farm
• Previous cropping or sheep experience
• Chemical accreditation preferred
• Mechanical & general maintenance skills
• Effective communication and teamworking
• Knowledge of workplace health & safety
• Minimum HC truck licence necessary
• Can provide a police check if asked
