Job Description
Airport Ground Staff Job Recruitment | Agra: To manage the Medical Office and conduct pre-flight Medical Checks (PFMC) for the crew. They would be required to certify staff sick/fit, as well as passengers, fit to travel if needed. Handle any medical emergencies of staff and passengers at the airport. Replenish and certify first aid and medical kits.
Your Key Responsibilities as a Medical Officer (MO)
- To conduct pre-flight and post-flight medical checks and maintain all its documentation and records as per prevailing DGCA and company rules
- Conducting First-aid training for cabin crew and for pilots – Initial induction and annual recurrent/refresher training
- Maintain proper documentation related to first-aid training and documents related to airport medical room functioning
- Conduct Pre-employment, periodic, cabin crew class-2 medicals and other medical, health, and related subjects and maintain records of the same
- Certify staff fit after sick leave. Address departmental queries and advise accordingly on employees’ sickness
- Assist and submit themselves to DGCA/internal audits and investigations, if required
- Respond to calls and airport accident drills conducted by Airport operators or any other suitable authority
- Work in shifts as per company requirement
- Willingness to travel outside Delhi for audits/checks and other temporary functions, if required
- Assist and conduct first aid training of cabin crew and pilots as per operational requirement
- Handle administrative functions and documentation requirements of medical services
- To maintain the upkeep of the Medical center and address all discrepancies
- Replenish and certify the contents of the First Aid Kit, Medical Kit, and Universal Precaution Kit as per regulatory requirements
- Assessment of passengers for fitness to travel considering his/her condition as and when required
- Examine, and treat the employees, certify them sick and attend to emergencies in the airport area
- Assist in dealing with the casualties of the accidents/medical incidents in the Airport areas for employees of TATA SIA, if needed
- Coordinate with emergency services if necessary
- Attend flight safety meetings, meetings conducted by other operational departments
- Any such other relevant and ancillary assignment that TSAL may require from you during work hours
Eligibility & Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills along with stakeholders from all levels
- Meticulous and has good technical / procedures writing skills
- Flexible, able to work independently on tight deadlines, positive attitude, independent and fast learner
- Indian Nationals with Valid Passports, PAN Card, and Aadhar Card
- Excellent communication skills (both English and Hindi)
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel/ MS Word, presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload while delivering high accuracy/quality work
- Good understanding of Safety Management System
- Minimum 5 years of experience with preferably one year of experience in the medical aviation setting
- MBBS from a recognized university
