Junior Online Merchandiser-E Commerce

Overview of the role

Support the end-to-End Management of Trading and Merchandising Operations and Strategies to reach Sandro/Maje/Ted Baker Ecom Revenue target and associated KPIs (Forecast, Revenues, Merchandising, Content, Website trading & merchandising related KPIs)

Job Description

  • Static page maintenance: About us, Terms & conditions, Store locator, etc.

Content

  • Optimize content (descriptions, images, etc)
  • Support data specialist with content corrections

Drive on-site performance

  • Site auditing
  • Look for data-driven improvement opportunities such as Design changes through testing, Site search, customer journey to conversion
  • Use VOC to enhance the product and optimize the onsite experience

Overall E-commerce improvements linked to trading

  • Post-purchase experience (Last mile), return & refund process, customer feedback

What you will do

Assortment management

  • Support with merchandising activities on the site including creating collection pages, VM-ing in line with brand requirements, supporting data specialist
  • Support online merchandiser with Briefing & set up of online campaigns for paid marketing, emails, SMS & more
  • Support merchandiser with reporting activities on an ad-hoc, daily, weekly and monthly basis

Merchandising:

  • Data-driven product merchandising for Homepage, categories, sub-categories, and landing pages
  • Collection pages, and promotional categories aligned with the brand calendar
  • Promotional activity set up
  • Daily site auditing
  • Product data sanity (title, descriptions, content, prices), availability

Product Life Cycle

  • New product launches, end-of-life products, and product substitution process

Website animation & updates:

  • Homepage, Category / Campaigns & Brand landing pages updates
  • Calendar promotions, and campaigns management
  • USPs highlight

Website maintenance

  • Support to Drive Financial Targets
  • Support the Merchandising and Trading of the various e-Stores, maximizing cross & up-selling, product positioning, and stock availability
  • Support the daily/weekly management of products going live ensuring 100% accuracy of product content and assets.
  • Support online merchandiser & E-com Manager to execute the Marketing and Promotional Plan. Emails and Homepage content.
  • Support Weekly/monthly competitor/market analysis highlighting opportunities and risks
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams. Excellent communicator within the internal team to support correct timely execution
  • Support e-commerce projects & Initiatives and ensure on-time quality delivery by working with multiple internal stakeholders

Required Skills to be successful

  • Experience in being able to build strong relations across key stakeholders.
  • Analytical and numerical skills with experience in reporting, using GA and other tools
  • Experience In Google Analytics, other reporting tools
  • Strong eye for product and for trading
  • Good commercial skills (commercially astute)
  • A high level of customer focus and the ability to understand customers’ needs
  • Passionate about brands and digital and possess skills to communicate and work with numerous stakeholders

What Equips you for the role


Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

  • Graduate/ Diploma Holder
  • 1 years+ minimum eCommerce experience preferably in the fashion retail industry and retail experience with experience into e-commerce merchandising., within a multi-channel retailer or pure play
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce & retail processes
  • Experience in Shopify, Salesforce commerce Cloud, Big commerce, or equivalent.
  • E-tail and retail experience are both important
