Corporate Development Manager
DESCRIPTION
Amazon India is currently recruiting for a Manager, Corp Dev team with a focus on direct equity investments in India.
The Corp Dev team is responsible for minority investments and M&A activity at Amazon.
The candidate should be capable of thinking out of the box, identify new trends and develop investment theses backed by quality data
Key job responsibilities
The individual will be independently responsible for:
- Building a pipeline and Sourcing investible opportunities
- Assist the team in execution of transactions.
- Monitor the investment portfolio
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of applicable experience in investment banking / Private equity / venture capital firm
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-graduate degree / Professional qualifications such as CA/CFA
- Competency with new age businesses
- Demonstrated ability to think outside the box, identify new trends and have a point of view on them
- Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships which facilitate deal flow
