The Amazon Advertising Quality Assurance team ensures these ad solutions meet Amazon’s high bar for customer experience. As a Manager | – Quality, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team working on advertising for Amazon.com, Kindle Special Offers, and Amazon Mobile Ads. Our Advertising QA team works on behalf of millions of Amazon customers, ensuring that advertisements meet our high-quality standards. The Role

The successful Manager I – Quality, will be obsessed with customer experience, quality improvement, and challenge the status quo.

In this role, you will:

• Led a team of QA technicians
• Lead the testing of large-scale systems, create test plans, and test cases, and drive continuous improvements to the quality assurance processes
• Design and review manual & automated test cases for desktop and mobile devices for ad testing
• Create Test plans and roadmap to build tools for QA teams and internal partner teams
• Consult with and advise project management and development teams on technical issues related to planning, developing, implementing, and modifying testing procedures.
• Use functional specifications to plan, create, or sign off on test plans, test cases, and automated test cases.
• Provide regular, detailed status reports on project progress, including test cases executed, bugs discovered, and bugs fixed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• 1+ years of experience managing a team of QA engineers
• Knowledge and experience with QA methodology and tools
• Hands-on experience in coding and automation
• Familiar with software fundamentals including working knowledge of automation frameworks
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams to generate and publish meaningful quality metrics

• Project management skills, preferably with software testing or operations.
• Strong focus on customer experience, curiosity about how things fit together, and a passion for driving improvements to raise the overall quality level of our software and operations environments.
• Creativity and initiative to improve the customer experience and advertising operations processes.
• Excel in communicating with technical and business leaders in advertising sales, campaign management, design, operations, developers, and technical leaders, even if they are remote.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment where every change affects the experience of millions of customers.
• Experience leading technical teams and developing/mentoring others.
