Job Description

Good storytelling starts with great listening. At Audible, that means each role and every project has our audience in mind. Because the same people who design, develop, and deploy our products also happen to use them. To us, that speaks volumes.

This opportunity is for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) of Software Development to join the Customer Experience Program to help facilitate and drive the successful delivery on multiple platforms for our Customers. These teams create and power Audible’s Applications on various platforms, including but not limited to Android, iOS, Web, and Amazon Devices (e.g. Fire, Kindle, eReader, Alexa). In this role, you will partner with Business, Product, and Technology Leaders and teams to coordinate across the Audible organization to raise the bar and deliver value for our customers. You will use your sharp focus on efficient and timely communication, proactive coordination, infatuation with technology, a strong desire to learn, and a passion for removing inefficiencies and miscommunications.

We are embarking on a mission to reshape fundamental experiences, delight our customers and drive a strong engineering culture. It’s our responsibility to push Audible into new places; wherever our customers are listening. Achieving this vision means expanding and strengthening our development process and leveraging new technologies to deliver native applications. You will help us constantly drive to improve processes and tools and raise the bar for our teams and ultimately allow us to release higher-quality software faster to our customers. Success means we lay the foundation for the continued expansion of our company without disrupting an already tremendously successful and much-loved product.

This role will be temporarily remote until our return to office date, at which time we will begin our hybrid model, Hub+Home. Our Hub+Home model provides flexibility to do our best work in the way that works best – maximizing the benefits of both works from the hub and home. We promote flexibility in how we work, when we work, and from where we work. We also offer the opportunity to work fully remotely for up to four weeks per year from anywhere within your assigned hub country.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will…
