What you need to know…
- temporary full time for a period of 6 months -76 hours per fortnight
- the package: $60,165 – $71,747 plus superannuation, per annum
- location – South Grafton
- 9 day fortnight
About the role
Do you have a passion for the welfare of companion animals and re-uniting separated animals with their owner/s or finding animals a new forever home? Clarence Valley Council has an opportunity for this key role to ensure all aspects of the daily operation of Council’s animal shelter/pound, as well as Council’s companion animal management obligations, satisfies legislative and animal husbandry requirements. This includes record keeping, cleaning, feeding, exercising, customer relations, community education, liaison with vets and rehoming organisations, animal assessments, undertaking compliance and even attending Court on a needs basis. Other important information
This position is located at Council’s Clarence Valley Animal Shelter, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
