Summary

The Software Engineering Apprenticeship is a full time, 24 month, paid role which includes an initial technical ‘Bootcamp’ for 5 months which takes place remotely and is delivered through an external training provider.

Key Qualifications

Importantly, you do not need to have prior experience in coding or computer science to sign up for the Apprenticeship. You do not have to have a degree to sign up for the Apprenticeship. You do earn an externally recognised qualification (Level 4 Software developer) at the end of the program, as well as practical project and work experience and a network of people across Apple.

Description

This program gives Apprentices the technical grounding they need to prepare for the next phase of the journey, which is the placement. Following ‘Bootcamp’, Apprentices are placed into Apple engineering teams with a support structure around them that’s designed to support them through their continued learning and experience.
