Job Description
Company Description
Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Eikon’s discovery platform is built on groundbreaking innovations from its founders culminating in the creation of microscopes that enable real-time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise intractable classes of proteins as drug targets.
Position
As a Scientist at Eikon, you will join an interdisciplinary team of highly creative and talented individuals. You will collaborate with other scientists to establish and validate in vitro cell-based functional assays that will be critical in aiding our Single Particle Tracking (SPT) drug discovery platform and compound Structure-Activity Relationship (SAR) campaigns. Your work will contribute to the coordinated small molecule discovery efforts of multidisciplinary project teams consisting of biologists, chemists, computer scientists, and microscope engineers

- Keep detailed and organized records of experimental protocols and results
- Analyze, interpret, and present scientific findings
- Collaborate and communicate across a diverse research team to successfully progress scientific goals
Qualifications
- Master’s degree with 8+ years or Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, neuroscience, or a related field
- Experience in discovering, validating, and/or characterizing drug targets through genetic and/or pharmacological approaches
