Job Summary
E-commerce buyers are responsible for purchases online of goods for which we receive orders. Using their knowledge of marketplaces, these professionals look for the best product at the right price, are efficient in net research and are meticulous. The goal being to keeping customers satisfied and retain business. Agents are required with an intimate knowledge of how the products or services are being sold, have great communication skills and sourcing experience. Great knowledge of marketplaces and sellers on those marketplace is a must,
Responsibilities and Duties
- Make purchase of goods after order reception: Research, find and select the right marketplaces to buy products as per order details receive
- Always look for the most cost effective solution to buy (price, lead-time…)
- Manage and track orders and returned products
- Manage communication channels to follow up our suppliers queries regarding listed products by collaborating closely with various internal departments
- Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information
· Follow up to ensure that appropriate actions were taken on customers’ requests.
· Refer unresolved customer grievances or special requests to designated departments for further investigation.
Qualifications and Skills
· Graduate from any stream.
- Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills to work on a cross-functional role
- Sound knowledge of E-Commerce and marketplaces
- Prior work experience in an E-Commerce company is advantageous
· MS Office
· Customer Focus and Being Attentive
· Good reasoning and analytical skills
· Ability to comprehend the customer requirement well
