We are looking for a competent Caregivers to care for our elderly resident in a professional and compassionate manner in our managed nursing homes across Australia. It’s an often demanding job as you will have to be available for most of the day and week. But, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

primary duties

• Responsibilities for Caregiver Address client needs with respect and attention to safety
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and using the bathroom
• Actively engage clients through conversation and companionship
• Engage with clients in a manner that promotes their independence and maintains their dignity
• Help with meal preparation, planning, and grocery shopping
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Report any unusual incidents or behavior
• Administer medications as outlined
• Maintain a safe environment for clients

Requirements and skills Proven working experience as a caregiver of 2 – 3 years

Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

Ability to pass a required TB test and physical exam

Respectful and compassionate

Good time management skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Strong ethicsMust be at least 22 – 55 years of age

Must be Female

Physical endurance

Current first aid certification

High school diploma or equivalent

Caregiver Certificate

Nursing Certificate

Midwife Certificate
