An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced person to join our friendly team in a temporary full-time role as a cleaner.

Where you’ll be working
Macquarie Hospital is a public mental health facility providing acute inpatient services, supported by a range of rehabilitation programs.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Envrionmental Services team, this position provides a cleaning service to the facility according to a predetermined service plan. The cleaner is responsible for maintaining all surfaces, fittings, fixtures and furniture within their allocated area in accordance with NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy PD2012_061.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Provide information about your relevant experience or provide details of your demonstrated ability to perform in the role
  • Describe your communication and interpersonal skills and include an example that shows your ability to work as part of a team
  • How did you learn about the principles of work health and safety, manual handling and infection control?
