Duties And Responsibilities of a Controlled Space employee

• Ability to work in a team or individually
• To provide a high standard of customer care
• Carry out pre-event checks of venues
• To ensure an even flow of people entering the venue/event at all times
• To monitor crowds for signs of overcrowding and difficulties in busy areas
• Make yourself aware of on-site facilities and be ready for questions from members of the public
• Be ready to investigate any disturbances or incidents
• To respond to emergencies – by raising the alarm and providing necessary and appropriate immediate help and assisting the emergency services as required

Job Requirements

• Being flexible and willing/available to work at short notice (days, nights, evenings, and weekends) is essential
• A flexible and professional approach to work is essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal is essential
• The ability to handle confrontation – remaining professional at all times is essential
• Taking pride in your appearance as well as representing Controlled Space at all times is essential
• Being eligible to work in the UK is essential
• Having a 5-year verifiable work history is essential
