Production Coordinator
Overview
This Production Coordinator will support the studio team in all aspects of production, from receipt of styles to creating and organizing final digital photo assets. The position reports to the Sr. Manager, Creative Ops and is responsible for managing logistical processes on all product-level photo shoots, as well as sample management. The coordinator will partner with e-commerce, merchandising, visual, marketing and design teams to comprehensively understand the product assortment and concepts to best support the season.
Responsibilities
- Studio/Sample Coordination
- Manage daily shipments, i.e. shipping & receiving of new samples, vendor requests, store requests, etc.
- Maintain grid shot list, collect and prep all samples as outlined in the monthly flip document
- Continuously adjust and update shot list as styles are added, changed or removed as well as identifying any missing or delayed samples. Partner with merchants to stay abreast all sample status updates
- Partner with studio management, showroom team, merchants and production to ensure all samples are accounted for, available for style-outs, and successfully transported between the office and studio locations
Support Editorial shoots as needed, i.e. sample management, scheduling messengers, props & supplies, etc.
- Studio Shoots
- Support the Studio team to ensure photo shoots are organized and stay on schedule
- Maintain shot list in real time as products are photographed in addition to styling notes & complete the look
- Assist Photo team on set, ensuring proper Ref IDs are shared, image naming is correct, and all styles are shot & accounted for as planned
Organize samples after set is complete, filtering back into locations as needed
- Studio Post-Production
- Maintain communication with cross-functional partners around grid assets and deliver finals as needed
- After each month of grid shoots, ensure all information lives archived on the One Drive, images & shot lists respectively
Skills and Requirements
- BA/BS in fashion or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in fashion styling. magazines, and/or visual merchandising
- Highly organized, proactive and self-motivated, with an ability to balance both creative and strategic deliverables while working in a high-volume environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to form partnerships across cross-functional teams – Photo Studio, Creative, Merchandising, Merchants and Marketing.
- Flexible and a willingness to put in the extra effort needed
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal, written)
- Ability to take initiative and execute with little supervision
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to stand for shifts up to 8-10 hours long
