Overview
Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify rooms with inconsistent status, prioritize housekeeping, and update the status of departing guest rooms. Assist Housekeeping Management in managing day-to-day activities. Serves as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Desk and Laundry.
Document and resolve issues with the front desk for rooms that do not match status. Prepares and distributes worksheets/job boards to housekeeping staff. Record, manage and update the list of “Do Not Disturb” rooms. Ensure soiled vacant rooms are cleaned as often as necessary and designate rush rooms and rooms previously on the Do Not Disturb list. Completes required housekeeping paperwork.
Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries; complete safety training and certification. Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

Ensures adherence to quality expectations and standards. Converse with others using clear and professional language; write and review documents accurately and completely. Use your computer to enter and look up job-related information. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance from another person. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisor.
