Dietitian

This position provides nutritional services to patients in the nephrology division, which includes counseling, nutritional assessments, prescriptions, and evaluation of nutrition-related lab parameters, as part of a member of the interdisciplinary team to improve results and maximize outcomes.

1. Obtains and evaluates nutrition histories of the patients regarding food habits. Assesses patient’s knowledge of diet and kidney disease and provides appropriate detailed education to the patient and their family regarding nutritional status, adequacy measures, fluid status, and all nutrition-related lab parameters pertaining to their disease process.

2. Completes written monthly nutritional assessments as well as comprehensive patient assessments for the patient’s written care plan in accordance with established Federal and State licensure guidelines. Participates in weekly care plan meetings.

3. Monitors patient’s adherence and response to nutrition therapy, and adjusts therapy as needed to achieve and sustain an effective nutritional status. Documents patient’s response to therapy in monthly progress notes

4. Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team on the management of bone mineral metabolism, nutritional status, and fluid status. Participates in monthly Quality Improvement team meetings.

5. Communicates with physicians and facility staff regarding lab result findings. Rounds with physicians in the dialysis center and discusses patient’s lab result findings.

Minimum Education & Experience: Registered Dietitian in DHA required Licensed Dietitian 2 years of work experience in adult clinical dietetics, and should has experience with sleeping treatments and weight loss ( Gastric Ballon-Fat Burn Injection).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 48 per week

Salary: AED4,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
