Open Banking Lead
Job Purpose:
The incumbent works on to position CBD as partner of choice for fintech companies and focuses opportunities for mutual growth and enabling CBD banking assets as a strategic enabler in that space through proprietary and regulatory Open Banking API framework.
Principal Accountabilities:
Responsible for being the global Fintech representative for the Gulf region
Act as the connection between Tech and Business to execute CBD Open Banking strategy with the Fintech community. Work collaboratively to customize, adapt and implement the Open Banking strategy framework. This requires alignment on strategies and objectives, sharing best practices from other regions, demonstrating thought leadership, and building an aligned execution plan.
Source, evaluate and collaborate with innovative Fintechs and Enablers active in the region. This requires identifying the specific needs of these Fintech communities, as well as creating and delivering the appropriate value propositions to market for the different Fintech segments.
Be the digital partnership leads to identify opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration and partnership with fintech partners
Responsible for executing on an innovative strategy to drive Business Case with other Fintech initiatives, leveraging a combination of partnerships and relationship management skills
Develop thought leadership, identifying and deploying the appropriate value proposition and driving marketing and comms initiatives aligning global framework to regional priorities and strategy.
Drive initiatives aimed at identifying and qualifying relevant Fintech and Enablers, assessing their strategic fit with CBD and our customers
Translate the collaboration with Fintech and Enabler into the appropriate commercial engagement models following global engagement frameworks (partnership, contract, M&A)
Drive and develop business and competitive intelligence reports. Identify the right metrics and KPIs and perform comparison with other Fintech stakeholders in the ecosystem. Track and report business performance of the engagement with Fintech and Enablers, which also includes Engage Partners Pipeline Management.
