Farm Hand/Labourer

Daily care of competition horses- including but not limited to feeding, watering, cleaning stables, cleaning shelters, handling horses of all ages and some stallions, basic health care, minor repairs (waterers, fences etc). Be able to work alone or in a group and have good customer relations. Be able to comfortably lift 50lbs. Experience driving equipment and trailers preferred. Horse experience is required. Valid drivers license required. Reliable vehicle is required, farm is outside of city limits.

Shifts are generally 8 hours, 5 days per week. Must be able to work minimum one day on weekends and some holidays.

Salary: From $16.00 per hour

• Secondary School (preferred)

• farm/stable/barn: 2 years (required)
