We are looking for two classroom teachers for grades 2 and 5 at Pihlajisto elementary school. We hope to have teachers who are interested in working together and have good interaction and group management skills. Competence in teaching music or English could be useful in your work, as well as experience in teaching multilingual learners.
We are a neighborhood school with approx. 480 students, which operates in two different buildings, the main school in Pihlajisto and the secondary school in Viikinmäki. Both positions are located at the main school, which operates in sheltered premises in the natural environment of the Pihlajalaakso park. We work together by acting, raising and teaching.
Eligibility condition:
Eligibility is determined according to regulation 1998/986. In the absence of applicants who meet the eligibility requirements for temporary positions, applicants without the required qualifications are also taken into account.
The person who is hired for a fixed-term employment relationship must submit a criminal record extract concerning him/her as referred to in the Act on investigating the criminal background of persons working with children (504/2002).
