Bulk Food Packer
We are looking for a packer to join our warehouse team.
Essential Duties:
- Packing bulk food products
- Bring product from warehouse to packing table
- Bring heavy product (over 30lb) from warehouse to packing room for retail packers
- Check quality of products
- Measure and mix products for Westpoint blends
- Pack bulk products into bulk bags (1-10kg)
- Seal bags and boxes
- Apply correct labels to packed products
- Return packed products to warehouse shelf
- Unload products when shipments arrive
- Unpack shipments and restock warehouse shelves
- Rotate stock in warehouse
- Keep products and equipment tidy and organized
- Maintain written records on products packed
- Clean and sanitize packing equipment
Required Skills & Experience
- Able to lift 25-50lbs on a daily basis
- Able to work quickly and multitask
- Attention to detail
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Warehouse or food industry experience
- Spoken/Written English
Benefits are offered after six months. Applicants must be willing to wear a hairnet and lab coat and adhere to strict personal hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 /hour
