Sr. Government Relations Officer

1- Handling a specific vertical / project for the incorporation to the licensing stages. Supporting management/central team in providing them with the conditions and requirements of relevant authorities (Ministry of Commerce, DED, Municipality, MOH), during the process of establishing new entities/ licenses.
2- Coordinating with the management of any matter/accident at the Ministry of Interior (police) related to drivers, and attending on behalf of the company.
3- Correspondence on investigation conducted by the ministry of interior when inquiring about 3PL’s drivers/customers information.
4- Renew official documents of the company e.g trade license, chamber of commerce, CR, import license, municipality license. And issuing health certificates for all staff required to hold the same.
5- Liaising with the respective dept e.g the marketing dept to issue a license for a campaign (e.g discounts, offers, rewards). In addition to the clearance process of shipments at the customs department.
6- Carrying out procedures of adding new activities to the CR, and obtaining any approvals required for this
7- Carrying out procedures of issuing new branch licenses/CR for new locations and obtaining all necessary approvals/ licenses/training such as not limited to municipality, civil defense fire dept, … etc.
8- Carrying out the procedures of adding/removing directors on the legal documents of the company.
9- Handling the customer complaints filed at the Consumer Protection Authority attending before the authority to discuss and provide the needed support to close the complaint amicably.
10- Attesting contracts before the Ministry of Justice, whenever it is required
11- Representing the Company before public notaries, while issuing POAs, Board Resolutions, and corporate related works .. etc.
12- Liaising with the sponsor/authorized signatories to attend before the authorities whenever it is required.
13- Attesting documents before the ministries and embassies whenever required. And delivering any correspondence to authorities or companies.
14- Carrying out any procedure for obtaining approvals from relevant authorities (if needed) for CSR initiatives
15- Updating the legal department of any governmental procedural changes, whenever applicable.
16- Traffic department processes such as renewing registration books, advertising permits and driver’s licenses for our riders and 3PL if needed.
17- Paying, reconciling or solving violations from ministries such as traffic, municipality, food and nutrition etc..
18- Issuing, registering and renewing trademarks and company logos for use in different campaigns and advertising.
What are we looking for: (Core Qualifications & Experience)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Time Management Skills
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Organizing Skills
  • Fluent in both languages Arabic and English
  • Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Excel Skills
