Radiology Assistant
Overview:
Starting pay for this position is $16.30/hour.
POSITION SUMMARY:
OSF St. Francis is looking for someone who enjoys patient care and who may have a passion for radiology. As the Radiology Assistant, you would receive patients into the Diagnostic Imaging Department to prepare patients for their imaging exam. You then will assist the technologists with care of the patient, when directed, and provide clerical support to the department.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
Licensure/ Certification:
- BLS from the American Heart Association (or obtain during orientation)
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
