The Housing Hub of New Brunswick (HHNB) is looking for a Coordinator, Real Estate Development to assist in creating new housing and community-building projects in rural communities across the province to support sustainable economic growth.
Who are we?
HHNB was created in 2022 to work in collaboration with non-profit and cooperative housing organizations, all levels of government, and businesses to facilitate the development of affordable housing in New Brunswick. You will initially report to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) at the HHNB to help launch this important initiative.
You will be a part of our small and dynamic team responsible for helping rural communities develop housing that is affordable and helping them realize their development vision.

You have a passion for taking on challenging projects that are unique, sometimes a bit strange, and delivered in an entrepreneurial environment where excellence is expected. You have a serious passion for shaping the community that you live in and its built environment.
You are the ultimate planner and coordinator and are an excellent communicator. You will plan, implement and track real estate development projects, in particular workforce and affordable housing, on behalf of the HHNB and its partners.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the real estate development process. Your work will include assembling material for municipal applications, tracking and monitoring approvals, following up with the consultant teams, providing support with public engagement and community events, and assisting with coordination and filing.
You may also be responsible for assisting with HHNB marketing, public engagement, site analysis, and financial modelling on development projects. The successful candidate will be a talented, multitasking individual who is self-motivated, curious, and can embrace diverse challenges while being focused on end results.
