Full Job Description
Job purpose :
To carry out safe and secure on time operations in accordance with the ground operations manual and all applicable procedures.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Ensure smooth and safe flight operations.
- Rostering and planning of leave of the CSA/CSE’s.
- Supervision & duty allocation of staff at the desired location for departures & arrivals
- Check flight schedule / delays if any.
- Conduct pre flight briefing and post flight de- briefing of all CSA/CSE’s.
- Conduct pre flight checks to ensure seamless ground operations.
- Co- ordination & liasoning with airport authorities/ other Indigo departments.
- Supervise quality check in at the counters.
- Check the availability/ serviceability of the ground equipment.
- Supervision of filling of all in bound & outbound flight papers.
- Any incident of a serious nature to be communicated over the phone immediately and detailed report to be made within 24 hours.
- Maintain log entries pertaining to the shift.
- Assist the airport manager in staff assessment & appraisals.
- On the job training of staff, supervise their grooming & uniforms.
- Maintenance of office/airport equipment.
- Compiling daily reports and sending them to the airport manager.
