Patient Service Assistant
The Position:
- Interior and Exterior cleaning as directed
- Cleaning toilets, showers and bathrooms
- Spot cleaning and cleaning any spillage or overflow of liquids, overflow from sinks, body spills and other human waste
- Duties as directed by nursing staff
- Clean linen distribution/Dirty linen collection
- Patient Movement/Coordination Service – assisting with patient lifts and transfers
- Patient related equipment management and distribution service
- Assisting Kitchen and Cleaning staff as directed
Minimum Criteria:
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance a must
- Full Training will be provided
- Previous experience in a similar role desirable but not essential
- Must hold a valid Working with Children Card
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
- Genuine interest in working with can caring for people
