In this challenging position, you will work in a multidisciplinary, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on projects such as semiconductor manufacturing, data centers and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills. They bring passion and a desire to apply their professional experience and knowledge to technically challenging and professionally rewarding projects in a team environment.

Here’s what we need:

• Performing the necessary engineering and design tasks to create construction documentation in collaboration with a team of engineers and designers
• Design of telecommunications cabling infrastructures based on customer design criteria, national and international regulations, TIA/EIA industry standards and the Telecom Distribution Methods Manual
• Design of the following elements and systems:
  • backbone distribution
  • Horizontal distribution paths
  • Voice/data cables and connection hardware
  • outdoor facilities
  • telecommunications rooms
• Real-time coordination and collaboration with other disciplines as designs are developed
• Conducting quality controls on design services
• Conducting site visits and design reviews

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Experience with data centers/semiconductors or in large-scale industry desirable
• Strong relevant engineering/construction experience in industry/advanced technology
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and German
• At least 4 years of proven leadership experience in the development of telecommunications systems
• Knowledge of the NEC and current BICSI standards
• Ability to interact with other technical disciplines, customers and vendors at all levels
• Experience working with REVIT and BIM
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 5-10 years of experience developing telecommunications systems for semiconductor plants would be desirable
