Roles & Responsibilities
The leader will be responsible for overall operations and maintenance of the MW power plant with an outsourced business partner team for delivering the KPIs and benchmark figures with the highest standard of safety and reliability complying with all statutory and environmental norms to lead a team of size more than 3000. Will play a critical role in transforming the Power function as best in class managing the resources in a planned and predictable manner implementing the systems and procedures in place.
- Achieve BP targets on generation and overall plant COP
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and SMPs with the highest standard of safety
- Co-ordinate between Operations, Mechanical Maintenance, ECI, and Fuel teams for Coal Sourcing
- Coal Mines Operation with cost-effective measures
- Business Plans & Strategies formulation and implementation of the plan
- Ensuring Quality Systems Implementation and adherence
- Ensure resourcing, training, development & retention Of human assets
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate in B.E / Masters (MTech / Electrical), BOE, Qualifications in Management Systems, Professional Course in Management (added advantage)
- Experience of 18+ years.
- S/He should have sound knowledge of coal-based Power plant processes, unit startup/ shut down, emergency handling of Boiler, Turbine, Mills, BTG auxiliaries, CHP, AHP, power plant chemistry, fire protection & detection system, and Grid management. Coordination with RLDC and power scheduling. Knowledge of electricity regulations, Asset Optimization, Sustainability model, Legal compliance, and best practices across the industry
