Administration Officer
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our client’s esteemed accounting firm. As an Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting their team of accountants and ensuring the smooth operation of their office.
The Role
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the accounting team, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and handling phone calls.
- Assist with client management by maintaining client files, processing client invoices, and addressing client queries in a timely manner.
- Prepare and proofread financial documents, reports, and presentations with a high level of accuracy.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments, both internally and with clients.
- Assist with general bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices, expense reports, and payroll administration.
- Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes and enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and external stakeholders, demonstrating excellent customer service and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrator in an accounting firm or a similar environment.
- Full working rights within Australia.
- Proficient in using accounting software and office productivity tools, such as APS, How Now and ATO mate
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- A proactive approach, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
