Data Storyteller – Power BI Expert (English speaking)

You have a passion for structuring information in stories in order to convey key messages to stakeholders? You identify what is important for your audience, and then use visualisation tools to surface what they care about? You know what differentiates your work from just another report and like to convince business users through a data driven approach? You know how to build a narrative from raw data and deliver your message through stunning visuals?

You know that there is a long way from having the right data to having a proper understanding of the data so you make it your mission to deliver that understanding to your audience? • You participate in business use case definition
• You support your team by making sure that the results can be delivered in compelling ways
• You quickly prototype reports and gather quick feedback to support the team with the use case understanding
• You deliver the end result tailored to your audience
• You can connect to powerful data platforms and combine different data sources
• You are part of the data integration and analytics team

• You have a creative mindset and you care about how diagrams and tables are shown to different members of the audience
• You have put deep thought behind how to structure and depict data for getting action-driven visual analysis
• You can ask the right questions to understand the business and the core challenges of the customer
• You can summarise complex topics and present them in appropriate way to the audience
• You see aesthetics as important as having the proper data at hand

This is your background

• You hold a degree in business information systems or have similar experience
• You have recognized the benefit of building a compelling story around data problems
• You have used Power BI extensively to create reports and dashboards
• You are proficient in PowerPoint and know what it takes to present complex topics to the management
• You have already worked directly with customers to gather data
• You have already worked in agile teams and you show your data methodologies to customers and team members
• You speak fluent English
