Cold Store Labourers

About the Role:

JBS Australia, Beef City Site is currently recruiting for all production floor positions throughout the Beef City Processing Plant. Beef City is located 35 km west of Toowoomba in the region of Darling Downs, QLD.

Positions are full time, Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday where available. There are two shift options for our Cold Stores operations.

Who we are looking for:

We are interested in speaking to applicants that have an interest or experience in a position that involves manual handling, container loading and unloading, cold storage and warehousing.

This is an entry level position with the opportunity upskill and increase your hourly rate.

You will be ready to hit the ground running with all training and ongoing training provided. Your day may consist of but not limited to manual sorting boxes of up to 25kgs, packing pallets, wrapping pallets whilst being safety conscious and having forklift awareness. You will need to have good attention to detail, be reliable and punctual.

Work well in a team environment.
Looking for a stable ongoing FULL TIME opportunity.
Have reliable transport.
Ability to take part in physical work.
Ability to work in a chilled environment.
Able to work in a Freezer environment if required

Shift Options:

Day Shift approximately 5am to 2:30pm.
Afternoon Shift approximately 2pm to 11pm

Entry level positions start from $935.37 / week, if you upgrade your skills with the business it can move up to $1068.12 / week. Opportunities to improve career and skills will be discussed on interview day.
