The legendary Hotel Palace Luzern first opened and is in the city on the shores of Lake Lucerne. It comprises 136 rooms and suites offering excellent views over the lake and mountains. Three restaurants, one bar together with a variety of meeting facilities, a spa and a fitness room roundup our offer for our guests.


As Assistant Executive Housekeeper you are responsible for the following duties :

  • Motivating, training, supervising, evaluating and counseling all housekeeping employees
  • Planning daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly assignments and projects for all Room Attendants, Guest Floor Attendants, Public Area and Office Coordinators
  • Performing administrative duties such as, but not limited to, departmental scheduling, payroll, purchase requests and monthly consumption reports
  • Implementing control on departmental labor costs and minimizing costs while ensuring that adequate staffing is available to provide five star services
  • Scheduling walk-through and follow up with all outside contractors
  • Maintaining an ongoing Safe & Sound program
  • Assuming the responsibilities of the Executive Housekeeper during his/her absence
  • Performing daily inspection of all public areas, guest rooms, exterior of building and back of house areas, to ensure that the highest standards are met
  • Monitoring progress, ensuring completion of deep cleaning program and assign tasks to housekeeping employees
  • Responding guest questions. Providing guest assistance, direction and information as requested. Conduct daily communication meetings
  • Providing a seamless, efficient and friendly service at all times and ensure a well cleaned, comfortable, well maintained and welcoming environment

As Assistant Executive Housekeeper we expect from you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality
  • Ability to multi-task and balance the priorities of the position
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English

  • Planning of visits and follow-up with all external contractors
  • Acting as Executive Housekeeper during his absence
