Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

Medicom is producer and manufacturer of personal protective equipment used for infectious control, such as masks, gloves and gowns. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates to join our new production plant who thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment!


The candidate will need to be experienced in receiving, shipping, picking orders and driving a forklift. This person must be a team player, punctual, comfortable with physical work and as well as flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming goods from containers, trailers or trucks, match and mark up with packing slips;
  • Inspect inbound receipts and report on controlled document (SOP) any potential issues related to our processes and Quality guidelines;
  • Put away of incoming goods in appropriate bin or floor space;
  • Using forklift or other transport equipment, transport raw and packing materials to the production lines, and collect finished product to be put away into the racking.
  • Perform data entry for receiving;
  • Order picking based on location/quantity/lot number indicated on pick tickets;
  • Wrapping and labeling skids;
  • Rotate goods on floor and perform bin transfers;
  • Loading and Unloading skids into trucks;
  • Perform manual re-packaging activities.
  • Perform basic housekeeping and maintenance activities of the warehouse equipment.
  • Perform other warehouse related jobs as needed;
  • Respect security and safety rules at all times.

Education and Training

  • High School Diploma
  • Fork Lift Certification – Class 1/Class 2b/Class 3

Experience

  • One year experience or more in related field

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Autonomous
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to do physical work: lift boxes of 30lbs
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Punctual
  • Team player

  • Inspect themarchandises received and report on the Controlled Document (SOP) any potential issues with our quality processes and guidelines;
  • Store themarchincoming andises in appropriate bins or spaces;
  • Using a forklift or other transport equipment, transport raw materials and packaging materials to production lines, and collect finished products for storage on shelves.
  • Perform data entry for reception;
  • Prepare orders according to the location/quantity/lot number indicated on the pick tickets;
  • Wrap and label the pallets;
  • Rotate themarchandises on the floor and perform bin transfers;
  • Loading and unloading of pallets in trucks;
  • Perform manual repacking activities.
  • Perform basic housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Perform other warehouse related duties as required;
  • Comply with safety and security rules at all times.

Education and formation

  • High school diploma
  • Forklift Certification – Class 1/Class 2b/Class 3

Experience

  • One year or more of experience in a related field
