Junior Creative – Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a Junior Creative to work alongside our Creative Leads, on a fixed term contract until October 2024. You will have the opportunity to be part of our unique in-house Creative team where we design and deliver world-class attractions globally. We are looking for someone who understands the initial creative concept process with lots of ‘blue sky’ thinking and the ability to collaborate and unlock creative thinking.

This role will be based at our Acton Studio in London, with a salary of up to £23,000 + attractive Merlin benefits.

About the Role…

  • Assist Creative Leads in evolving the guest experience on their nominated attractions to ensure excellent KPI’s.
  • Proactively research new attraction ideas and innovation, to ensure the Creative Team has the very best information to drive the business forward.
  • Participate in “brainstorms” as required to challenge thinking on their brands, ensuring the brand is always fresh and rejuvenated.
  • Use various techniques to create visualizations or 3D illustration
  • Assist the Creative Lead in developing the concept through theming booklet through to on-site installation where required.
  • Proactively seek to improve own skills and knowledge of Creative operation.
  • Have an eagerness to learn from the Creative Leads to develop a creative skillset.

  • Passionate about creativity in all its form
  • Interest in developing creative skills across idea generation, art direction and design
  • Eye for detail and quality
  • Loves getting stuck into a challenge
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively
  • Good systems skills with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organisational skills (prioritizing, time management, record keeping, follow-ups).
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines, manage conflicting priorities, effectively multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment
