As Front of House Receptionist, you will build long-lasting relationships with our customers, ensuring they have a great experience with every visit to our restaurant.
You will deliver a First-Class Front of House experience, welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner; focused on delivering the highest standard of customer service and satisfaction. The front-of-house service shall complement the Security and Workplace Experience Teams, providing a safe, seamless, and integrated service within the reception and dining space.
As the FOH Receptionist, you will be the initial touch-point upon guest arrival ensuring a positive first impression and making sure their journey is memorable and effortless. We are looking for individuals who will have the patience, charming personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role.
Front of House responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Greeting and serving customers
- Providing detailed information on menus
- Check up on customers’ dining experience
- Collecting the bill
- Answering Calls
- Taking Bookings and Orders
- Multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties
So what qualities does a Front of House Assistant need to join Mezza Restaurant?
- You have previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality or leisure
- You are known for your positivity, friendly and can-do attitude
- You are organized and proactive, everyone knows that you have a handle on everything
- You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our kitchen staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
- You work well under pressure, understand the importance of meeting targets, and are always up for a challenge – you are a problem solver!
- You are confident in using Microsoft Office and have a natural flair for writing personable and effective correspondence to our customers.
You are always looking for ways to learn and improve, to inspire people while having fun and doing the right thing.
You will act as a member of one team with one goal, will always be yourself, and work hard. Most importantly, you dream big.
Ultimately, it is the duty of our Front of House Receptionist to provide an excellent overall dining experience for our guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Salary: £9.50-£10.00 per hour

Experience:
- Restaurant: 1 year (preferred)
