We’re looking to recruit 1 Primary Class/ English Teacher to join our NACIS Shanghai school, a Nord Anglia Education school.
THE SCHOOL
NACIS Shanghai offers students a creative, challenging and rewarding learning experience. Students aged 6 to 18 years old are welcomed into our progressive and internationally minded school community. Diploma Program. Located in the Minhang District of Shanghai, the school has world class facilities that complement our innovative approach.
Our staff are from 10 different countries with significant numbers of colleagues from China, the UK, Ireland and North America.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for several Primary Class Teachers to teach English while being Homeroom Teacher for Grade 1 to Grade 5.
We’ll look to you to promote high expectations for our students, designing learning activities that are aligned to our school’s Primary curriculum and creating a learning culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved. You will foster an environment of respect within the classroom, facilitating learning through questioning and discussion.
ABOUT YOU
You will be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will possess a university degree, a recognized teaching qualification, and teaching experience. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the school’s level of achievement.
Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will also be a able to meet -related restrictions for China, including at least 2 years of English teaching experiences, a bachelor degree notarized.

OUR GLOBAL ACADEMIC RESULTS
For the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, our students achieved a 36.2 global point average and a 98% pass rate, with over 20 students earning a score of per 45.
In the A-levels, our students achieved 65.4% of grades at A*-A, along with 83.7% at A*-B, with a group-wide pass rate of 99.4% and seven schools achieving a perfect 100% pass rate. In this year’s I/GCSE results, 59.6% of students achieved A*-A grades, with a group-wide pass rate of 89.5% and 13 Nord Anglia schools achieving a perfect 100% pass rate
