Our clients, a British family living in Dubai, seek a Live-in Nanny for their 3-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will be someone who has previous experience working with children with special educational needs or has a background in a nursery/schooling environment. Their daughter is showing early signs of Autism and is undergoing assessment/support from a team back in the UK.

It is preferred that the Nanny is willing to aid the little girl’s development, help her reach key milestones, and expand their personal knowledge on the job. Creating a fun environment is important to the family, but they would also like someone to be confident to set boundaries and hold their own equally.

This position is solely child-centered, so the Nanny is not required to do any light housekeeping or laundry, although you will be expected to keep areas tidy. Someone who is happy to cook for the little girl would be a bonus – just simple, healthy, and nutritious meals. Their daughter does not currently attend nursery but will be looking to enroll her 2 days per week in the near future.

Duties will include:

• Sole charge occasionally will be shared with the parents
• Supporting her daily schedule
• Creating a fun environment – suggesting age-appropriate activities and extracurriculars which will help aid with her development
• Liaising and learning from the team, helping guide them back in the UK
