POSITION INFO:

Is a positive role model in performing tasks and working with co-workers.

Packs, labels, and/or assembles products through team efforts, per customer specifications, in a safe and efficient manner at bins or workstations. Should be able to pack efficiently to standards at 90 -100%.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Demonstrates NIBCO Core Values
2. Read and follow standard work instructions on tablets
3. Performs all work according to work standards and to proper safety standards.
4. Perform all basic packaging and assembly operations – read and follow standard work instructions, production orders, schedule summaries. Perform scanning, packaging, and palletizing properly without supervision.
5. Perform basic Total Productive Maintenance tasks; complete autonomous maintenance checklists; perform basic TPM tasks on packing tools.
6. Maintain good housekeeping and order – use housekeeping tools and boards properly; understand expectations; keep area clean; clean safely and understand Safety Data Sheets
7. Understand the basics of injection molding – complete overview training and know safety devices on machines in cell.
8. Operate basic machines and equipment properly – includes scales, sticker machine, baggers,, pallet jack, sprue cutter, radio, flange assembly, etc. (for assembly cell – also operate tapper, gluing station, swivel assembly, and carousel.) CPVC-Manual & Automatic Baggers
9. Communicates well with associates, work in a positive and professional manner.
10. Any job-related duties as assigned by your team leader.
11. Reports all safety hazards, unsafe working conditions, abnormal circumstances, accidents, or other problems to supervision.
12. Keeps work area neat and orderly.
