Job Description

The nurse will be responsible for: ?~ Acts as a role model in promoting a healthy lifestyle ?~ Administer first aid to students and staff as needed ?~ Providing all medical care for welfare of children in any sickness and accidents occurring during nursery?EUR(TM)s hours ?~ Maintaining each child’s medical records; monitor and maintain growth and physical development records of students. ?~ Measure height and weight of student at the start of academic term and at the end. ?~ Submitting weekly report to the management ?

~ Keeps daily log to list students who visit the nurse?EUR(TM)s clinic or needs special attention ?~ Follow policies and procedures of the Nursery ?~ Taking care of medical equipment on site, accessories for medical care assistance ?~ Able to be prepared for doctor?EUR(TM)s visits /prepare for health authority inspections ?~ Record keeping for expiry and breakage/replacement etc. ?~ Crisis / disaster management / risk management for overall Nursery?EUR(TM)s affairs ?~ Emergency medical condition management ?

~ Acute illness management ?~ Infectious disease prevention and management ?~ Organising workloads to facilitate management and admin ?~ Collaborate with others to build student and family for adaptation, self management, self advocacy and learning ?~ Collaborates with staff, students, parents and other professionals to assess health needs and develop a school health plan ?~ Aware of and willing to promote the nursery?EUR(TM)s health and safety policies and practices ?~ Utilizes critical thinking, time management, problem solving skills in management of care ?

~ Provide case management services ?~ Administers medications as per MOH guidelines ?~ Directs immunization program ?~ Provide training for staff pertaining updated healthcare and safety measurements ?~ Appropriate delegation of care (initial assessment, training, competency validation, supervision, and evaluation) ?~ Liaison between school personnel, family, community, and health care providers ?~ Accepts accountability for own actions and decision making ?

~ Practices within the legal framework of the UAE; maintains current license to practice and follows the UAE nursing code of conduct ?~ Develops community partnerships to promote health of community ?~ Encouraging participation in other projects in accordance with the SOP targets and as agreed with the Senior Management Team ?~ Responsible to take any other duties as required by management time to time Expected

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED3,000.00 – AED3,500.00 per month
