Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized and glassware by hand when necessary
Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
Assist chefs and waitstaff as required, especially during peak hours
Escalate major issues when necessary (e.g. safety risks, equipment failure)
Other duties as requested
Requirements
Ability to follow instructions, has good communication skills,
Effective time management and works well with multiple kitchen staff
Willingness to work in a humid, fast paced environment
