We (and our student brand, Fused Bills) set out to find some amazing talent to work across all of our teams. Summer is a really busy and exciting time for us because that’s when most of our student customers move house and entrust us with managing their utility bills ️

We’re expecting this summer to be our busiest yet and we are looking forward to welcoming over 60 new (and old) faces to our office in the heart of Ouseburn during this time. A lot of our summer team are students who return each year to take up fixed-term contracts each summer to get good money and great experience and we’re hoping that this year, you’d love to join them! ‍

We need someone:

Confident speaking on the phone

Self motivated & driven by targets

Looking to earn some extra cash over the summer

  • ️ Excellent at time management and multitasking

Strong communication skills

Great at problem solving

Willing to learn

Unafraid to speak up with new ideas

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be advising our student customers on the best package for them. You’ll make outbound calls and explain the benefits of allowing us to take care of all their utility bills such as unlimited energy and not having to chase housemates for their share of the bill.

As this isn’t a cold-calling role, you’ll have a really pleasant experience talking to our customers who have signed up via the website. However, you’ll still need to sell the benefits of the service to ensure we’re hitting those all important targets and offering the best services for our customers.

Your typical shifts will be Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm with the occasional Saturday shift too but not every week.

What you’ll get from us


Firstly, the big one, you can expect a basic salary of £21,674 (pro-rata’d to reflect the length of your fixed-term contract). Additional commission will be awarded when you smash your targets.

You’ll get 25 paid holidays (also, pro-rata’d) with bank holidays on top!

You’ll receive (and be paid for) all of the right training to help build your product knowledge and confidence when speaking to customers on the phone.
