Oxford Frozen Foods Limited is currently recruiting for full time positions in various Production Personnel. Starting wage of $16.43 and after the successful completion of probation, $16.62.

  • Must be able to work with products including but not limited to onions and wheat
  • English Language – level four minimum
  • Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent
  • One-year similar experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify specified processing conditions and make adjustments to processes used to peel and slice onions or process frozen blueberries or carrots
  • Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
  • Operate single-function machines to box frozen fruits and vegetables
  • Operate single-function machines to inspect fresh product and separate impurities
  • Check products to ensure conformance to company standards and clear machine blockages as required
  • Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date and type of products packaged or processed
  • Record the use of raw materials used during processing and packaging
  • Perform corrective machine adjustments, clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Troubleshoot machines and report mechanical problems to the line supervisor
  • Record amounts and lot numbers of all batter and breading used throughout the shift
  • Ensure the mixers are cleaned and filled with the appropriate batter for the shift
  • Monitoring batter levels to ensure adequate supply throughout the shift and avoiding waste at the end of the shift
  • Weigh totes of product and label appropriately
  • Observe gauges, computer printouts and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions and make adjustments to process variables such as cooking times, ingredient inputs, flow rates and temperature settings
  • Maintain shift log of production and other data
