Packing Operator
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Operator in Packing for our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have one to three years of hands-on experience in packing operations within the pharmaceutical industry. As a Packing Executive, you will be responsible for carrying out packing activities and ensuring the accurate and efficient packaging of pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor packing equipment to ensure the proper and timely packaging of pharmaceutical products.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines during the packing process.
- Inspect packaging materials to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects to the supervisor.
- Prepare and set up packing lines for different products and batch sizes.
- Coordinate with the production planning team to ensure timely packing of finished products.
- Perform in-process quality checks and sampling to verify product integrity and packaging accuracy.
- Assist in troubleshooting minor technical issues that may arise during the packing process.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation related to packing activities, including batch records and packing logs.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant industry regulations.
- Follow waste management procedures and maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area.
- Collaborate with the packing team to achieve production targets and maintain product quality.
- Report any deviations from SOPs or quality concerns to the packing supervisor.
Requirements:
- One to three years of experience in packing operations within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Relevant technical education, such as an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate, Diploma, or Degree in a related field.
- Basic knowledge of packing equipment and processes in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other industry regulations related to packing.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in packing operations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with team members and other departments.
- Flexibility to work in shifts as required by production schedules.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: ₹200,000.00 – ₹500,000.00 per year
