About the School

Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi will be a UK curriculum day school enrolling students from Early Years to Year 13 in the city’s prestigious residential district Al Reem Island, opposite the new Sorbonne University campus.

About the Role

The role of Receptionist plays a key role in creating an excellent first impression of the School, delivering outstanding personalised service and promoting highly effective relationships and exceptional levels of professional communication.

As Receptionist you will be responsible for meeting and greeting parents and visitors ensuring all are dealt with in a professional and friendly manner. You will answer, screen and direct telephone calls, take and relay messages and enquiries as well as receive, sort and distribute mail and deliveries as necessary.

This position will also have responsibility for dealing with enquiries from members of the public, clients and key stakeholders, monitoring visitor access and maintaining security awareness. The Receptionist will also provide general administrative and clerical support to the School’s Administration team and the willingness to take on multiple tasks.

About you

You will be friendly and polite, of smart appearance, with the ability to calmly and confidently deal with clients or customers. You will be adept and building positive and collaborative relationships at all levels.

It is essential that you possess high levels of personal integrity, you are conscientious and able to focus on completing work to a consistently high standard while adhering to deadlines. In addition, you will be flexible, have a positive approach to work and attention to detail that is second to none.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience;

  • A strong customer service background in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in a multi-lingual, multinational organisation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time-management skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment and the willingness to take on multiple tasks.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
