Mechanical Engineering Graduate

We are inviting suitable candidates to apply for our Mechanical Engineering Internship within Belgotex’s Engineering department.
The successful candidate will assist the Mechanical Engineering department to carry out mechanical engineering work in accordance with that meets all requirements where mentorship will be provided to ensure safe work practices.
The role reports to the Mechanical Engineering manager
Role and Responsibilities
- Measure the performance of mechanical components, devices and engines
- Assist in maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient
- Use computer-aided design/modelling software
- Assist the seniors in product designing and product testing.
- Collect data on running production lines and work sites.
- May take care of preliminary data analysis putting the facts and figures from production systems.
- Regular reporting to the manager should be done in proper systematic manner.
- Inform their manager after each task is completed
- Work on any other ad hoc tasks assigned by manager

Educational Requirements
- Grade 12 and,
- Diploma / Btech / Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant equivalent qualification
Required Technical and Soft Skills:
- Computer literate
- Analytical Thinker
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Deadline and results driven.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion.
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions.
- Continuous learning – a curious mind and have willingness to learn
