Handyman And Designs, a local business renowned for our handyman services, is excited to expand our team with individuals who are passionate about DIY and eager to learn!

As an Assistant Handyman/woman, you’ll receive hands-on training and be exposed to a variety of tasks, from minor repairs to home improvement projects. We aim to provide exceptional service to our clients, and your role will be crucial in achieving this goal.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior handymen/women in general maintenance and repair tasks.
• Set up the work environment, including taping off areas for paint, laying floor sheets, setting up tools, helping bring materials needed to start a job, holding things in place, etc.
• When the job is done, help clean up the area so that it looks better than when we first arrived.
• Maintain open communication with clients to answer their questions and address concerns.
• Punctuality is a must – always be on time!
• Show enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and assist in various projects.

Requirements:

• An interest in DIY tasks and a basic understanding of household repairs.
• No experience? No worries! We offer training.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, easygoing personality.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Owning a set of basic tools is a plus but not a requirement.
