Caretaker/ Cleaner
Full Job Description
This is a permanent Caretaker/Cleaner position required for 15.
Grade 3 – £20,441 for 10 hours per week term time only for 52.14 weeks per annum equating to £5,524.59 pro rata rising to
£5,624.86 pro rata per annum after 5 years’ service.
Grade 2 – £20,258 for 5 hours per week term time only for 52.14 weeks per annum equating to £2,737.57 pro rata.
As Caretaker, you will be responsible for security of premises, porter duties, monitoring of cleanliness, operation of central heating, maintenance monitoring and debris clearance from playground, footpaths and drives and guttering etc.
You will also be expected to perform minor repairs that are not beyond the scope of an unskilled handyman, as well as ensuring economical fuel consumption and replacement of light bulbs and tubes up to a height of 9 feet.
You will have good communication skills and be flexible and confident to work on own initiative. Previous similar experience would be an advantage.
