Project Planner – Production Scheduler
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Ensure that all PSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met.
- Support the Project Planning group to prepare, maintain & follow up weekly the needed pre-contract phase schedules (IMS, PSI Master Schedule, etc.) together with PSI design planner, other planners and design and procurement department management.
- Prepare and maintain the needed post-contract master schedules (primarily PSI production phase schedule) together with PSI other planners and design, procurement and production department management.
- Provide the needed information to other PSI planners (detailed production schedules, design schedules, procurement plan).
- Active participation to development & internal training of PSI scheduling set-up (Primavera P6 & SAP) to ensure accuracy and data integrity for all related management reports.
- Development of PSI planning reports (schedule status, productivity, etc.) together with planning report analyst.
- Participation in project meetings, schedule follow-up meetings representing both Project and Planning Department interests.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education And Experience
- BS or MS (Emphasis on Engineering or Naval Architecture) preferred
- Experience in Shipbuilding or other fabrication industries preferred
- Planning experience in manufacturing industries preferred
- Knowledge/experience of modern planning practices – critical paths, bottlenecks throughput restrictions, etc.
- Knowledge/experience of modern shipbuilding process and terminology preferred
- Knowledge/experience of productive work methods, capability to make productivity/efficiency comparisons preferred
- Knowledge/experience planning ERP systems – Primavera P6, MS Project and SAP (preferred)
- Other software skills – MS Office, Autocad (preferred)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be carried on indoors or outdoors, and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.

This is an onsite, full-time, safety-sensitive position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department, days and hours determined by department schedules.
